I worked on Flight Centre's "Round The World Experts" website, as a Drupal 7 web developer, helping take the site live after many months of delays and turnover of development staff:
https://www.roundtheworldexperts.co.uk/ Significant use of JavaScript in the front-end for adaptive/responsive theming and performance and security reasons, plus the development was run within a strongly structured GIT and GIT FLOW process with distributed teams and team members. This project also implemented formal code-review and enforced coding standards compliance.
The site is based on a massively multi-domain, single code-base, multi-database model, and the development also adopted the Flow structures of peer-review, test and staging environments into the overall team processes.
